I’ve had at least 6 Vortex scopes, from Crossfire to Razor. Crossfire was destroyed shooting standing offhand with a 375. Replaced and sold. Diamondback Tactical on a 22, works fine, features and glass meh… Another Crossfire on a 9MM or30-30, can’t remember, works so far. SPARC red dot, worked fine, unremarkable. StrikeEagle 5-25 on a 22LR. Works well, again features and glass show their limitations against anything slightly higher cost. 2nd hand Razor Gen 2 that has not held zero for me on a 300 PRC, but Vortex says it’s fine and sent it back. I just shipped it back to HQ for them to take another look. Yes fanboys, used a torque wrench to mount. I really want to upgrade to a Razor Gen 3, but if it has a problem I’m not sure it will be taken care of. I’ve got a pair of Vortex Fury 5000 rangefinder binos that have a funky reticle and fluctuating brightness that I’m not happy with, but I’m not sure I want to waste the shipping to have them tell me to get ducked. For reference I shoot a few hundred centerfire a year and 10-20K Rimfire.
