Favourite 7mm Rem Mag Powder

Like the title says; what is your favourite 7mm Rem Mag powder?


Have lots of H4831 in stock for my 338 wm.

H4831sc is my go to. Ive got good velocities from imr7828. A lot of guys like rl22 but not me. Where i hunt there's too much temp variance to use a non extreme powder. One less variable. I tried the new enduron 7977 but i never got great velocity or accuracy.

I found a good load for my rifle with H1000 and I haven't strayed from that yet, though I do have some Reliant powder I want to try some day

R-22 has been my go to powder for the 7mmremmag.

Rl 22 then imr 4831. They don't seem to be too picky on powders

You can't go wrong with H 4831 as it works flawlessly since it performs well in those larger cases.

I thinking that consistency is king, the H offers this too.

I used to use retumbo. Very consistant velocities and great accuracy

I have been having very good success with 7828 also, and is very rarely out of stock.

7828, H1000, and Reloader 22. All work well in my 7mm.

RL22 in my 7mm works very well.

Norma MRP Then IMR 7828. With some good loads using H1000, Big Game and H4831sc. D.

I've been having better success with IMR4831 then H4831 in my 7mm. This is with long target pills.

I use IMR4831 and am satisfied with 31oo fps from a 160 partition. At the time I started loading for the big 7 the only powders readily available were this and h4831 and H870. The IMR was the best. H4831 was not as consistent lot to lot and I couldn't find or didn't want large conners because I was moving frequently. Still use IMR 4831 even tho 7828 might yield slightly more velocity.

I use H4831SC &168 LRAB in my 7mm RM,Retumbo for the 180 gr.

RL22, IMR 4831 & RL25. If one of those don't shoot, something is wrong with your rifle.

Since i have over 10 pounds of reloader 22, i have found many good loads for my 7mm... JP.

I got more velocity and stellar accuracy with imr7977 in an otherwise slow barrel R700.
