Favourite AR dot sight?

I've got a 3 year old Eotech, without the raised rubber thingy. AA model with NV setting.

I mounted the Eotech forward on my RAS and placed my PVS14D in the normal scope position. Unfortunately after a fairly short time period, 5ish minutes, the reticule burned onto the image of the PVS14.

I contacted Eotech and discussed the issue with them. Their "fix" was to leave the PVS14 turned on for an extended period, say overnight, and the image burn would eventually fade. I did, and the image did eventually go away, after approx 15 hours of leaving the 14 on.

I also discussed that issue with Eotech referencing that their solution may be acceptable for an agency piece of kit, but for a privately owned NV scope I didn't think that was an acceptable solution for the extended life of the unit.
I did not receive any reply to my remarks. I also raised the issue on arf. and still have not received any type of reply as to how the problem of image burn would be addressed by Eotech.

Sooooo, the bottom line is, I still have and play with my Eotech. It is my preferred method of sight if I am to use a dot type. However I will never use it in the dedicated role of a sight picture for my night vision. Not a big concern to most, but it sure gave me a scare.

Does anyone still use iron sights? Basics people ;)

My 14.5" M4 now has the carry handle back on, that combined with a Big Dot and large aperture is atleast as fast as the Dot sights when using the "sloppy" sight picture...no buttons, batteries...K.I.S.S. .
