I run a 9.2" v7 Magnesium/Aluminum hand guard, it's as light/lighter than carbon fiber hand guards. It feels fake when you're holding it before installing it.

Very impressed with mine. It’s also relatively inexpensive.

X2 on the Aero Atlas series. This is the S-one (R-one is full length top rail), lightweight, real nice finish, come in variety of lengths. Mlok or keymod. Flush mounting system without clamp hanging below. Nice and low profile
