Well with no FRT and no announcement from CanAm in years you won't see this rifle for a long time. It's Just rumors that t97 from CanAm are coming.

Couldn't afford your Wheaties this A/M...? Yeahh... Oh, that's right, you spent $200 ++ more than necessary.. No Wonder all the Smack Talk..

@pavementsurfer Can you tell me a bit more about the one in the upper left? What parts and whatnot? Really nice gun, though I also like the grip on the one in the lower right.

I cant remember the manufacture of the rubber front grip. Its just an insert piece that goes under the grip panels. Cost like $5 from brownells.

The gun now has a Wilson combat full length stainless guide rod also.

I dont think I have much over $200 in parts on the gun. Not including the coating.

I went to Arma-coat and picked up black and FDE shake and spray kits, had the frame and slide sandblasted and coated them up in my garage. I dried the parts with a heat gun between coats and, after it was all done I baked the parts in my oven at 350 for an hour. So far, there isnt a scratch on it.

A side benefit of the Arma-coat is that it fills in alot of the rough machining marks on the slide and frame. Once its worked in its smoothed out and tightened up the slide so much.
