Favourite patch lube?

I have hade good luck with 4 parts beeswax, 4 parts olive oil and 2 parts crisco.

I have not tried bear fat yet. My wife at least likes the smell of my current patch lube. 500 ml beeswax, 700 ml of olvile oil, and 300ml of lard.

I try and make most of my own stuff. It's half the fun of it.

I use beeswax, vegetable oil (prefer olive) and Murphys oil soap. I melt the wax add about 75% oil by volume and then add murphys until the consistency is like margarine left out of the refrigerator. I don't use a recipe but will be next time I think of writing down how much I used as I'm making it. I have to let it cool and sometimes reheat to add more murphys. I can shoot indefinately without swabbing but still do after every 5 shots.
