Favourite powder for 9mm 124g plinking loads?

EXACTLY what he said....and for me thats hp38

Where did you find HP38? Out here on the Left Coast I've been waiting for Win 231 (same as HP38) for over a year now and not seen HP38 either. (o/s on most US websites as well, although that's irelevant to us up here.)
I use 231/HP38 in my .45 ACP and WSF for 9mm as I got a few pounds from Higginson's some time ago. Both seem to be Unobtanium now. But I have some Bullseye and Unique so I'm not stuck... yet.

My local dealer had a list going and I put my name on it..I got 2lbs of 231 and 2lbs of hp38 :)

I just started using CFE pistol and it burns clean and produced good accuracy in my 9mm. It is also a fine ball powder that meters very well. Also to my big surprise, it was relatively inexpensive at $27 per pound.

So dam true ! The people in the know ( supposedly) in the US have been saying for over six months now that the shelves are filling up. But yet ours are empty ?? Something wrong here, but who knows the truth ?
The best powder is the one that you can actually get on a regular basis these days

Harrumph......... ! "What this country needs is a really good 5¢ cigar" (Thomas R. Marshall c.1920)... and a constant supply of pistol powders (the rest of us, 2014).
