Favourite Red Dot/Glass/Optic under $75?

Hello everyone!

My girlfriend is currently looking for a cheap optic of some kind to try on her .22 rifle, she would prefer a red dot but a similar low-zoom or no-zoom optic would be great too.

Just reaching out to see what you all think is great for the price point.
 
If you can't afford a decent optic, how do you afford to shoot it? Just a question, not implying anything. I'm a fan of save your money and buy quality once.

Man I got an tasco red dot came on a 22 I bought, give me $20 plus shipping it's yours. They normally run $70-$80 ish. Works fine.

Sorry to disappoint but the days of the bushnell trs-25 being the best under 300 are over. Bushnell changed a winning recipe and totally f***ed up their product with the new gen trs. I'd go holosun or just use irons.

I didn't say we couldn't afford a decent optic, that's your assumption. It's for a cheap .22 rifle that gets shot maybe twice a year at most, it would be a bit silly to purchase a $400 scope for it, especially when we have about 6 other much better .22 rifles already equip with hi-end optics that get used much more often.
 
There really isn't an optic under $75 that is worth putting on anything. When it comes to optics/glass, the term, "You get what you pay for" could never be more relevant.

I've had good luck with the TRS25. So far 2500rds on an AR15 in x39 and still works fine. I put it on the AR as I want to see how long it will last - I'll post up when/if it fails.
That said, I think for a 22lr the TRS25 are pretty good.

Buddy was asking for a budget red dot under $75, didn't want to recommend ncstar or others so recommended bushnell...not to say they are the best but @ $120'ish I think they aren't too bad. Best red dot under $300 is a whole different question.

Duct tape a toilet paper roll on your rifle then, when it fails you won't be out anything.
