Faxon ARAK

Can't go more than 30 days without a thread on this baby can we?

If the Sig MCX is an AR variant, you can bet your ass this is.

If you take a few searches of the forum, you'll see this particular rifle has been in the sights of Canadian shooters for a while. The good news is that Canadian shooters are also in the sights of Faxon. Last year at Shot Show they were planning to build a Canadian specific rifle, which I suspect is in the hands of the RCMP's FRT lab right now...

MAC posted a video about 20 minutes long regarding the Sig MCX. About 2/3 of the way through he puts the Sig MCX upper on a standard AR15 lower and dumps a full 30 rounds mag through it.

AR lower functions the MCX upper, the MCX lower will be restricted, which it is in the FRT.

If the FAXON upper does the same with an AR lower, it will be restricted. On the other hand, if it is, we get them sooner than having to wait 3 years for a new review. ARs get approved quickly.

Got one and it shoots like a dream guys!!!
As TV-PressPass said, they are working on a NR version. The uppers won't be interchangeable with regular AR15 lowers as is The Modern Hunter from Alberta Tactical.
Here's a little Faxon #### from this side of the razor:

.

AR upper will not function with MCX lower. Lower is the firearms.

The problem is that if you want to argue with the RCMP, you might end up having this stuck in limbo for years to come.
