18 sleeps and and a coffee then hit the road for Ga. :)

667 you are a lucky guy! I am envious; I would love to attend that match! They do all kinds of crazy stuff like putting springs on shooting platforms and stuff! From everything I have heard that match ROCKS!

Was this the event where you guys were shooting full auto?

John

Yeah... many of the matches in the US feature some sort of FA action. At least in the states where its easy and legal.
FB3G '09 featured a supressed ACR on one stage.
This year it looks like they're having an M203 as part of stage 5

BRM3G also had some FA as part of the match... Seeing as it's Ky. Probably the most FA friendly state in the union.:)

No luck required... Just a passport, F6NIA, a wife that likes to see me happy and two kids that are happy as long as I brig 'em back a present.

Well I lie... There is a little luck needed. Sign up for FB3G is done online at at specific time and is limited to X number of shooters. Last year I clicked at 00:00:00:.5 and got reservation # 45. This year I did the same and managed only to get onto the wait list. Albeit only number 5 :)
Fortunately enough people backed out that I eventually moved down far enough on the wait list to get into the match.

Not everyone is so lucky... One of my shootin' buddies only managed to get like spot 300 or so on the wait list... No joy in that :(

Does the match committee or whatever provide the full auto rifle?

John

Usually it's a match sponsor who supplies the FA gear.

FB3G is run in cooperation with the US AMU so they'll likey be the ones supplying the M203.

I heard it was very difficult to get a place in the match. I know of several guys that waited to go through the application process and were hundreds down on the wait list. I wish it was me goin!

Good luck at the match man, all A’s and no jams!

Whats the real stuff 667.....HOT CHOCOLATE?

You boys have a great match, next year it will be Team Hoser in force.

Make us proud
