Here's a link to the Modern Service Weapons site that gives you instructions and a downloadable bullseye, that can be printed on normal letter sized paper to duplicate the FBI marksmanship test and training.

The standard is to aim at the 6 o'clock position for consistency.

I prefer a figure 11, It has a lovely rectangle and you aim for one of the corners.

Gave this target a try last night at the range. Scored 202 out of 300 using my sig 226 in .40. Would have been 252 if i didn't miss the paper completely at 25 yards. Definatly a great target to test your skills with, and a key lesson to this is shoot half as fast as you think you have to as 15seconds is a long time!

Not for combat shooting you don't. Bullseye standards are about 25yrs out of date with modern law enforcement pistol standards.
