One of my Buddies hunts with a K31. He loves it and all his other rifles became dusty since he picked it up.

Welcome to the club.
That will look great after stripping the shellac with alcohol and new shellac.
Nice grain on that beech stock.

One of my redone k31 beech stocks

Finally got the P-26 I wanted! I already had two P-27 (one blued, the other one "in the white") but the P-26 was constantly eluding me.
Now, thanks to a very fine CGN gentleman, I finally secured one:

Very nice shiny bore, walnut one-piece stock (looks like a N.E.W. English Contract one) and a funny calendar on the left side of the comb.

They say buy the gun, not the story but that is still pretty interesting/cool.

Got a P1 from Tradex. Fast service, nice condition. Looks like it has been refurbed. Think I will have to hoof or snowmobile in to the gun club to try it out. Can't wait until sping!

Been pretty slow around here what with the arctic weather and all so I made a call and bought one of these:

90mm1.jpg

Forgive the crappy pictures, but they are from google street view courtesy of Cantom. They are 90mm anti aircraft guns (deactivated).
I have been wanting one of these for a while now but was waiting for someone else to buy one in my neck of the woods. I finally found someone else as crazy as me, so we each bought one and will split the shipping this spring.

Crap! I see those two pieces on a regular basis. I'll miss them, alot!

Just could not convince the wife that those godawful gnomes in the front yard should be replaced with those two pieces of history. I think the fact we have a church across the street had something to do with it, I think. :)

My new SVT

picked up an SVT-40 from Badger Arms
Its in great shape, 1941 Izhevsk, plum bolt, the bluing is 100% across the board. Stock and receiver serials match. Very pleased.
