February Purchases

They finally sold did they. I wanted to buy one but the wife was pretty firm on that one. I think I've found a Bofors 37mm.

Been pretty slow around here what with the arctic weather and all so I made a call and bought one of these:

Forgive the crappy pictures, but they are from google street view courtesy of Cantom. They are 90mm anti aircraft guns (deactivated).
I have been wanting one of these for a while now but was waiting for someone else to buy one in my neck of the woods. I finally found someone else as crazy as me, so we each bought one and will split the shipping this spring.

Seems like they have been there forever, but all three sold in the last week or so.

A 37mm is cool too. They are a manageable size. I can't imagine this one will move much once it is in place out in the yard.

Personally, I would love to find a 2 pdr, a 6 pdr or a 25 pdr in Canada.

Very nice Dimon! You dont see those very often, especially the TT30

Got it on the EE. Ya, I had to wait a while for this one to come up but I snatched as soon as I saw it. Just gotta keep your eyes and ears open.

Finally got this Smith-Corona 1903/A3 off my old friend "up in the Pontiac"... negotiations were tough... my liver hurts and if I ever smell Wisers Deluxe again I'll puke.

Anyways.. not as nice as I thought ... funny isn't it... you always remember a rifle in the condition you WANT it to be, and keep fooloing yourself to justify all the BS you have to go through just to get it! Anyways...still a very cool piece of history.

Wasn't really planning on this purchase, but found it hiding in the corner at my local gunsmiths ....and there was no way I was leaving without it:)

I think the only action this ever saw was being put into somebodys gun cabinet and then brought out to be cleaned every few years.

Metal is mint, wood is very nice with all the original markings visible inside and out. A real nice example from the LB factory, nearing the end of the war.

Received a very nice US-marked Ross Mk.II from a board member. Anyone know what the LC on the chamber means?

I hope my 1st purchases come before the end of the month! Shipped on the 14th and they still haven't arrived despite the expected delivery date being the 18th.

Damn you Canada Post...

Thats a beautiful LB at the top of this page. Nice find! Also, your two Sniper repros are pretty sweet too riflechair. :)

I figure if AA Cannons count as Milsurp, then my beltfed should too!
