I did see the Federal 1000 rd .223 cans at P&D. I hadn't really seen them in town before, so I thought I would ask and make sure that was a decent price.

That seems OK for 1000 rounds. It shoots good in my Savage, (55 gr Federal FMJ) and decent in my mini14 target. I would prefer something a little heavier, but beggars can't be choosers. I have some 69 grain Sierra match loads that shoot awesome in both guns, but this seems like a good way to bulk up the supply.

Given the choice between Milarm and P+D I'd take P+D any day of the week. Twice if I had the money.
