Federal .22 Auto Match

Has anybody tried this stuff.? My CTC has it in stock $29.99 for 325.
Is it really match grade? It's in a bulk box, so I'm not sure about it being true match ammo. Not cheap, but not ridiculous price...

Kinda standard stuff from Federal. 9.2c per round for it IS ridiculous IMO.

I bought some a couple months ago for $23.99 Havn't had the chance to try it yet, But I'm sure it will work pretty good. Ive never had a problem with Federal ammo.

Decent plinking ammo, but nowhere near "Match" IMHO. From what I understand, it's ammo that came off the line and didn't make the quality control cut for their higher end, "Gold Medal" Target and Match ammunition. I mean, it IS in a bulk pack afterall.

Not match ammo, proof is on the box where it says something along the lines of "designed for use with semi automatics". Decent but can't say it's noticeably better than federal bulk

Fed AM is my favourite bulk ammo. It tends to cycle well in most semi autos and is more accurate than most bulk ammo.

I get a few ftf in each box. But the price is right and it's available.

It's alright, but alot of variances in the stuff. Just measured 600 rounds the other week looking for exact match rounds. And I belive I was getting .014 variations in length with no real set point, just all over the board. Weight was within 0.01g and rim thickness had .006 variation.
But with that said. .. it's what my rifle likes best and I like it

Garden City. Last I checked I think it was the same price at Xtreme Shooting Center as well.

Don't buy 325(kind of an odd number) until you've tried one box. In any case, it appears Federal no longer makes it. Isn't on their site and is listed as No Backorder on Midway's site.
The box says, "Ideal for semi autos". And "Target Grade Performance" 'Auto Match' is/was just a Federal brand name.
