Federal 223 brass question

I was preparing some 223 Rem brass last night and was starting to trim a bunch (various headstamps) when I noticed that none of the Federal brass was trimming. I measured them and was getting below the trim-to-length (range from 1.749 to 1.744). These are all once fired too. My question is what is the minimum case length that they should be trimmed to? Are these too short? If they are, then I guess I have a good start on some 300 Blackout brass.

Use them and don't worry about them being 5 thou short.

Load & Shoot.... repeat until trimming needed...

Or just give them to me... they are obviously unsafe and I'll dispose of them for you
