I just want to know if the ammo is copper plated.

Federal Champion High Velocity (510) is a solid lead round nose, NOT copper plated. 1240fps. It's pretty good, very reliable and clean. But I prefer 714, the standard velocity variant; easier to stay on target during pistol rapid fire.

The last 50 round box of Federal I bought had 15 duds. Would sure suck if the ratio was that high on a 5000 round case.
