Its not very accurate if you going to use iron sights on it, they are crap, it's way more accurate with a red dot, it's very very reliable plinker, had 2 FTE in literally 3000 rounds and FTF with Remi crap sometime due to ammo, not the gun. Very light, easy to carry around all day long and it's very reliable.

I bought 2 boxs at the town and country wal-mart yesterday and they were $16.97 a box. Can Tire is $19 somthing a box

Run on sentences aside... ;) Just what are you calling "crap" there anyhoo sonny boy? I have a 795 and I tell you it is VERY accurate with iron sights, it is NOT crap and it shoots the 525 Federal bulk pack ammo just fine.

I've had good success with a regular 4x Bushnell .22 scope on my brno 22 so ordered one for the marlin 795-but have never had a semi auto before,so don't know how they are for accuracy or what brand of ammunition works best for them.Most plinking/small game shots seems to be within 30 or 40 yards though,but I have to be able to hit bottle caps for practice on head shots

11.97 for 550 rounds of Federal 36 grain copper washed hollow points... Oh ya, on the "American" side...
