Has anyone tried the Federal 17 WSM through their B Mag yet?
I pulled the trigger on a budget B Mag at Lebaron yesterday ($260 + tax less the $25 USD mail in rebate puts it about $265 total and worth the gamble). I noticed that Bass Pro had some of the American Eagle stuff stocked, when I dropped in earlier in the week.
Does anyone have any idea who makes it? I have heard it might be CCI. Specs seem exactly the same as the Winchester stuff that I picked up at Lebaron. Is the quality/accuracy the same as Winchester?
Hopefully the B Mag will be a decent shooter. I did an initial sight in at 30 yds yesterday with the 20 grn. Win and it seemed pretty tight.
