Federal Black Cloud for geese?

So the link didnt work.
I hi-lighted Black cloud changed their wad this year so it can be shot threw any choke. from DVXDUDE thread and came up iwth a boat load of information.
The flight control wads have been redesigned to perform better through ported choke tubes.
anyways, the ammo is pricey and one can shoot cheap challenger for less ( more rounds less $$ is more better).

The information given dated January 2017 from field and stream.
I realize the information I posted does not answer your question, but does provide some details as to performance of the shot and the design of the
wads.
They also show some of the shot, some shiny some black might have to research this ammo a little myself.

I use Federal blue box and Challenger Magnum. No problems with killing geese and they are cheap as chips.

Not worth the additional cost IMO. Spend the extra cost on shooting some clays. I've haven't noticed any obvious advantage to the stuff, just a lot of marketing hype. While guiding this fall I witnessed a lot of both strong and bad shooters running Black Cloud and they weren't killing geese or ducks any better than the guys running the cheap federal blue box loads. They didn't result in any less cripples either. I'm not talking a couple shots here and there either, we ran over 100 clients and our ammo bill for the season went well over $13k. When cleaning the birds there was just as many pellets pulled out of breast meat from black cloud as there was regular pellets. In fact, it seemed as though those flight stopper pellets just dragged more feathers into the meat and resulted in poor penetration.

Perhaps running higher end shells might give a guy more confidence, but I'm not convinced its all that great of a round.

CV32, I get your valued point.
The lack of response would imo only , would be to go out and buy a box of said BC and give it a whirl.
I see guys buy it by the case at my local small brick and mortar shop.
These guys all shoot Benelli SBEII’s and the only reason they shoot that gun is because they all thought they would be able to shoot better.
Federal shot shells are great ammo for waterfowl, clay sports and big game hunting and yes, even home Defense.
I’m not posting to derail your thread or upstage your thread.
This has been my experience with Federal ammo over the years and I did find the video clip interesting ...
Almost interesting to go out and buy some BC in 20 gauge and go shooting with the gun store owner.
Take ‘em !!!

I also noticed that the black cloud seemed to drag more feathers into the wound channels of the breasts, and there seemed to be way more missed shots with the black cloud as was lets say Winchester ammo or regular federal ammo, or Remington ammo
we mainly shoot 10 gauges, while goose hunting,
how we came into the black cloud was a little gun shop north of us
had a case that had been ordered and paid for by a non resident hunter , and he never showed up for it, so the shop held it for over a year, and was closing down , so the guy sold me the case for $80
I couldn't turn that deal down , but I don't think I would pay full price for black cloud , for the 10 gauges, it just didn't perform any better if anything it was worse, we tried several different chokes as well with it
it was all BB , so I really cant say what other shot sizes are like
