Federal Champion SP Primers vs Federal Gold Medal SP Primers?

Just wondering if both types of small pistol primers that Federal offers are equally as soft? I have a line on the Fed Gold Medal primers but don't want to get them if they are harder then the Champion primers.

What other differences are there between the two?

PS, for use in .38spl PPC loads out of a revolver that doesn't like hard primers lol !
