Are these any good? I saw some bulk packs at the local co-op and they say high velocity 36 grain copper washed hollow point on the box. I think it was $16.50 for 525 rounds.

The Federal #745C isn't bad. The velocity is pretty consistant. I've yet to have a dud.

For smaller group sizes, compare it to Federal #710.

I like them. They are cheap and arn't as dirty as some of the other stuff out there.

I'm running the 40 grain lead.... nice and reliable so far, and a 500 round brick cost me $19.25 after GST at Cambodian Tire here in Edmonton

Some of the Co-ops in Alberta have the champion on sale for $10.99 per bulk box of 525. On till april 28-----Cowboy

This is the best value of the bulk stuff IMO, in both 36 gr hollow and 40 gr solid.
