Hello. I am looking to use the federal fusion this year for moose bear and deer. i will be using it in a ruger M77 Mark 2 .308. I was just wondering if anyone had used these fusion and what they have to say about them.

accurate ammo, my 280 would shoot it under 1", best group was like 2" or so @ 300 meters - unreal! Im sure it'll hold together fine and kill great. Best ammo for the $ I am convinced

Best shooting factory load for my Ruger 77 (in .300 Win Mag). Have only recovered one slug, from a BIG black bear, and it was a perfect, classic mushroom weighing 176g (started at 180). Total pass throughs on a bunch of other critters. And best of all, they are CHEAP, way cheaper than other premium, bonded bullets. I wish they came in more caliber choices.

I have had great results with the 165 gr 300 win mag on deer. No tracking required.
Excellent accuracy, they have not came apart regardless if bone is hit, and caused lots of damage.
IMO the best value on the market. I would not hesitate to use them on moose in a heavy for caliber bullet.

The wife shot her first deer this year with 140grain 7mm-08 fusion..........not that she had any idea what she was shooting.

She hit the Doe hit on the first shot, broke its back and dropped it in its tracks.

The doe was running with hounds on it. Id say the fusion preformed perfectly.

Ha she even tried to gut it herself, took tons of pictures!!!!!

Took a bear, a moose, and a deer with 225 grain fusions in 338. No issues, animals died.

Snapped a moose spine, recovered the bullet under a broken rib on the other side, looked like it retained all of it's weight.

I'm getting ragged holes with 3 shot groups at 100 meters.

I like them.

Now you've got me wanting to try these in 300WM. I'm not completely happy with the accuracy I'm getting from Hornady Custom 165gr WM's.
