Hello:

Has anyone seen the Federal Heavyweight Coyote load on store shelves anywhere? Has anyone tried them out?

They look like they would be an interesting load for coyote hunting with a shotgun.

I will definately try it if it becomes available in Ottawa. Some of the places I hunt yotes I only use a shotgun because of the population density. Don't want to be limited on where I can shoot because of houses in the bullet path. Any idea what these will cost. I'm thinking $$$'s.

BB for coyotes? Might as well use steel goose loads.

I'd still prefer #4Buck for coyotes, BB's seem a little small. ;)

Lead BB's work well. We always used that, BB nitro I think it was called. The shells were about 15 years old, we are out now. Would always dump a coyote at 30 yards, few at 40 yards as well

I wanna try these federal shells, hopefully they are cheaper then Hevi-shot dead coyote.

I believe that this is heavier than lead non-tox so it would most likely hit more like #4buck than a BB and you would have a denser pattern so in effect even greater killing energy.

Hello:

So is it safe to assume that nobody has seen the Federal Heavyweight Coyote load on store shelves anywhere? I am interested in seeing how this load patterns in my shotgun. Perhaps I will need to wait for it to appear in Canada.
