Federal "High Energy" .338 Win Mag?

I was given a box of Federal Premium "High Energy" .338 Win Mag ammo this summer, loaded with 250gr Nosler Partitions. Does anybody have any experience with this stuff? The box claims a muzzle velocity of 2800fps, which is very warm with 250gr bullets. Has anybody actually chrony'd some of this to confirm the velocity levels? Is it still available? The box I have looks quite old to me.

You can't get it anymore but it was one of the early "hig performance" factory ammunitions. I've never chrony'd it in the 338 but have used it in some other rifles and it performed quite well. Even if it's not suite as fast as the box says it'll be good stuff.

I used it for a couple years in my Ruger M77 338 on moose.
I liked it and the rifle shot decent groups with it.
If they still made it, I'd still be using it.
