Federal M855 1600rds 62gr FMJ 5.56mm Wooden Ammo Crate

I dont understand what the fuss is about when you can get 62gr imi green tip for less the .60c per round after tax and shipping at canadaammo. If someone could elaborate I would be glad to hear.

Yeah I went back and forth in my head about if this was a good price or not, finally just said screw it and ordered a crate. May be cheaper stuff out there, have definitely paid less for 62gr in the past, but the strange thing is; it seems like the price of ammo continuously goes up! Earth shattering revelation for sure...

Since when is .80 per round for 5.56 good?

You might want to check your math there.

Apparently the imi/iwi stuff might have pressure variations. I haven't seen any yet i got the 1200 for around 55c a round.

And this is available atm. The iwi/imi is not. Plus it didn't come with the can or other swag. Whether that matters to you or not is up to you.

Is there a dealer in western Canada (Vancouver-ish) carrying this ammo?
Or others interested in a group purchase...

I've personally shot the IMI 62gr Green Tip before from Canada Ammo. It shoots mighty fine out of my IUR; it truly does love that ammo at that weight which is only good news for me. It comes in and out of stock, but it's cheap and quality ammo. Plus, now and then Canada Ammo has sales on their IMI and PMC stuff, both being good ammo, that is cheaper than this Federal 62gr Green Tip is. As far as I'm concerned, if my money for ammo is going out of country, it doesn't really matter to me which one it is. I would be as much Canadian 5.56 as I could, if there was any and it was a reasonable price. But for now, I'll penny pinch and support South Korea/Israel/USA (when the price is right). If I'm truly in a bind and need a little bit of ammo RIGHT NOW, I'll buy a box or two of Russian but I don't enjoy to as much.
