I just saw this ad while browsing our various sponsor pages, and this seems like a REALLY good deal...

Normally, a pack of 20 HST cartridges in 9mm is about $35.00 in all in. Just for 20 cartridges. And the Syntech rounds are more expensive than normal rounds, and they shoot much cleaner.

In this pack you are getting 50 x HST 9mm in 147gr AND 50 x Syntech 9mm 147gr. 100 rounds overall.

From a value perspective, it is pretty good, in buying all this together, instead of individual pieces, which will run a lot more... Just the 50 x HST is worth the price of everything, and the 50 x Syntech is a bonus.

I may drop by and pick up a pack or two tomorrow.
 
Yes, I agree. I haven't seen this in any other bricks and mortar store or online store in Canada except Tenda. I loaded up on these (sometimes multiple trips a week as I was trying to perpetually scrape up spare cash), and of course, once people found out about them, they sold out quickly.

Another one of our sponsors is selling 20 rounds of the 147gr HST for $40.00 + tax. Buying 50 rounds of this would equate to $100.00 plus tax. And that's just for the HST. Then imagine the cost of the Syntech 147gr. A box of 50 at Tenda of 124gr Syntech is $26.00 - 147gr would be presumably more, but it's say maybe $28.00. So all that would be $128.00 + tax. Compare that to the $60 + tax you'd pay for Train and Defend (50 rounds of Syntech 147gr and 50 rounds of HST, which universally has amazing reviews). To me this was a no brainer deal. If Tenda ever gets these in again, I am going to snag more.

That being said, I would have preferred a 75% / 25% split between training and defense rounds. Presumably we would be training with more of it and the HST would be kept for emergencies, not for practice. I would likely have a TON of HST left over in a year or two.

**EDIT - if you ever see this for $59.99 Cdn. again in stock, order it immediately while you can, even if you may not need it for the time being. The Federal US official website shows MSRP of $80.99 US (which is $113.00 Cdn., and that's before tax). And that's for the 124gr version!
