Yup I last bought these at about $53 per 1000 before tax, and that was back in December. I’m thinking I should see if that dealer has any large pistol left...

I assume you are new to the sport? I've been following the demand in the USA and while I didn't expect this kind of price increase (not like our $ is crap right now) I did expect a tightening of supply. I've seen auctions on gunbroker for 10,000 FED100 go to $3575 + haz! And this was 2 months ago. The shooting season hasn't started yet
Yes the prices have gone crazy last weekend in Prescott Arizona Show they were selling for 250.00 k - 300.00 k us and they were grabbing them up.

Agreed, cost hasn’t gone up that much, supply has gone down that much. I have been waiting for 2 prebooked orders from 2 Canadian distributors and haven’t seen any since January. Typical supply and demand right now.
Vista outdoors has announced for months that prices to distributors were going up April 1st.
