Federal trophy bonded tip components

I just ordered some of these from cabelas in .284" 140 gr. Going to use them in my 7mm08 if they shoot well. Just wondering if anyone else has experience using these bullets? Are they the same as the speer tbbc? Can I use regular 140gr data? Also how is the coating as far as fouling goes?

They look like a really good bullet with a bonded tip and solid copper shank. If they work and shoot good I might try them in the 308 as an everything load. Price is right in the with other premium bullets.

Saw them on the website. I am very interested as well. Same caliber.

If tbbc means trophy bonded bear claw then even more so. This past white tail season I fellow I hunted with (270) had some of these stashed from a while back and I saw first hand how well they worked. Just deadly. I'm a bonded convert.

Speer has separate data for the bear tip bullets.

They just came out with the edge TLR so I guess they are selling the TBT as components now. They do require some decent speed to expand though so keep that in mind with your 7-08.
