Pass. I agree the price of ammo is about to go down, and it seems like people down south are trying as hard as they can to get as much of the money back that they invested into the craze down there. I say let them choke on it since they were part of the problem.

I'll admit that I wouldn't buy it at that price...but it is in line with the high US pricing right now. Canadian buyers are a fickle bunch...I think you'd end up sitting on it for a while.

Cheapest seen was at $276 for 420 rounds (on stripper clips) in ammo can with Federal label.

I'm only asking because I don't want to bring in something that won't sell. The price seems to be pretty in line with US retail plus the freight it takes me to get here.

I'm not up on prices, but just picked up 1000 AE 55gr .223 for $406 including tax. It was available I jumped on it. Is the 62gr worth that much more for plinking and competition, not in my mind.

Yeah -

Like others have said - you couldn't get the stuff before for any price - now it's available but at premium coin.

I think you'll see the Federal Lake City ammo drop and match the PMC X-TAC before Christmas ($500 + tax).

Also, if this ammo is 1K in a can, it certainly won't be on stripper clips - they wouldn't fit ...

For that price, I'd rather pay for standard FMJ but at a heavier weight. I don't see enough bulk heavy weight stuff in Canada.
