Put 50 rounds thru no issues, then it started having these feeding issues, fires one then after it ejects it seems to have a issue feeding the next round.
Will fire 5-10 no issue then do it again.

NEA AR15 7.5"
So far about 600 rounds never one single issue.
Same ammo since day one.

Thank you in advance for your help & advice.

Same mags as day one? I only ask because of the following:

I had the same issue when shooting Norc 223 ammo out of LAR mags. The OAL of the norinco ammo was 2 thou greater than the Federal AE ammo I had previously shot without issue. In my case, I think it was a combination of the greater OAL and the mag followers in my LAR mags. I've since replaced the followers with Magpul ones and the issue disappeared for me.

LAR
Stock mag
P-Mag Gen 3

All 3 are doing it, a gunsmith was at the store just now when i stopped by, he told me polish the ramp, without me telling him the full story he looked at bullet & placed it exactly the way it was getting stuck, he said my feed ramp isnt all that smooth.
Gonna try that, nothing else makes sense since i been running these mags nd same ammo since day 1

.002" overall length caused problems? I would be surprised if Federal could keep .002" OAL on FMJs as a manufacturing tolerance (and that's not a slight to Federal, just that I honestly can't see them holding .002" on length).

OP- The problem is probably just that the Norc ammo has too little neck tension/the necks aren't crimped enough. Chinese QC is about on par with NEA QC (I'm sorry I couldn't resist ;) ) so while it's entirely possible there is something wrong with the gun, it's even more likely a problem with the ammo.

I suspect if you try just about any other brand of ammo, the problem will magically disappear.

If you have a Lee Factory Crimp Die you could always re-crimp the necks on the Norc ammo........but that sounds an awful lot like work.

Gonna polish the feed ramp as suggested, take the norc ammo, buy few other brands too nd see what happens.
####KKKK I GOT 1000+ rounds of this garbage still.
My 1st AR & the small frame was the seller :(

I was scratching my head about this too...when it only happened with norc ammo AND in my LAR mags, I wondered what was so different between the federal and norinco. I put them side by side and the norinco was noticeably longer and sharper...got out my calipers and was surprised by the difference. Both the federal and norc ammo was pretty consistent in oal iirc. At the time I pulled a few bullets and the norc ammo seemed crimped adequately. Replacing the mag followers cleared the problem entirely for me and I've gone through a few thousand rounds of the norinco 223 since then so I wasn't sure what other conclusion to come to.

Before you start doing anything to the gun, try the different ammo first. The feed ramps may be fine as is.

If your AR can't feed Norinco (or any ammo for that matter) properly, even with Pmags, your gun is flawed.

It's an NEA...

My LMT's love the stuff, in any mag, all day every day.
