Looking for feedback on the Curtis Valor and the Ultimatum Deadline actions? I haven't seen anything lately when I do a search and wondering for the people that have them how they like them?
Thinking of using one for a build. Thanks!

Many excellent actions available in today’s market. Some use different designs. Two lug or three lug, bolt throw, method of cxcking, extractor type. Lots of questions. Some are better in dirty /dusty conditions. I’d research what the top prs shooters are using. I’ve had great luck with Surgeon,Defiance and the Impact 737R . No experience with the two you mention but I’m sure nutters will chime in with personal experience. Good luck with your build! As a side note ATRS also builds and is in your province!!

I’ve been running my Curtis Valor SA from EM Precision with a PVA Osprey barrel for the past year. I absolutely love this action. Smooth like butter and zero issues. I bought a Bartlein for the quick change action as well from Insite. I shoot four times each month and around 300-500 rounds per range visit. Never a problem. Silly accurate. I can’t say enough good things about this action.

I have 3 Deadlines and am really impressed with them. All have identical headspace spec's and barrels can be interchanged with perfect headspace (I have the gages to check). Very slick and are in very accurate rifle packages. I would recommend them. Never seen a Curtis so can't comment of them. Ks makes a great action also. I don't see why we should have to buy a US made one with these great choices.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been looking at KS also and if I do not go with them this one I am sure I will be on another one!

I’ve also owned a bunch of ks barrels and they are excellent as well. One of the most accurate 22’s I’ve ever seen had a ks barrel and arguably the most accurate rifle I’ve ever seen and definitely the most accurate one I’ve ever owned both were ks barrels.
