Feedback on Leapers 6x32 AR-15 scope?

Merci ...

Hi Ripstop,

With my old eyes a thick crosshair might not be a bad idea! :) I have a Leupold Ultralight 3-9x33 EFR (with the Duplex reticle) on my CIL/Anschutz 310 .22 sporter ... I didn't get the almost-identical Ultralight Rimfire model just because it came with a fine non-duplex reticle.

Is your Leapers the shorter-looking AR-style model in the link?

BTW, Marstar's other AR-15 Leapers scopes (not sold-out) are 28 mm, and I'd like to get the extra brightness of the larger lens. If I can find one ...

Thanks again for the reply.

If you prefer a "red dot" type, take a look at the Bushnell scope that kinda like a Trigicon, it works very well and the centre dot in about 1/4 mil so it works all the way out to 300m!

Hello Boomer,

I just dug my upper out of my range bag and looked at the scope. All that is written on it is 4 X 32 Mini @ 100 yds.

I don't even see a comparable scope on the Marstar Website. The one I have is a very cheap no frills bottom of the line Leapers. It even came with scope rings and lens caps. I think I paid $23.00 for it. I bought it at a gun show.

Here is a link I found through google that is the same scope.

You gotta take the space out from in between the h ttp

How was I to know that it is for airsoft? I don't expect it to last forever and it is useless after 50 yards for any precision shooting but then so is my 11 1/2" AR. Since it is pretty short and has a 32mm bell, it is clear enough. Leaper scopes aren't the greatest investment but at $23 I thought I'd give it a try. It hasn't broke yet but I only have a few hundred rounds on it.

Best of luck with your search. I thought that Marstar carried the scope that I own but they don't. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

AR-specific Bushnell optic?

Hey guys,

Mr. Ripstop, thanks for doing all the digging around / research on my behalf. I am wiser.

And Mr. M39A2, thanks also. Do you know the exact name/model of the Bushnell optic that you mentioned? Anybody else out there know about it or, better yet, own one?

Thanks in advance.

The scope I was talking about is the Trophy 1 x 32 73-0132

Remove the space and paste. I quite like mine, which is a slightly different and older model. Very fast to use and as I suggested, works quite well all the way out to 300m and it's under $200.00.

Super!!

Scott,

Many thanks ... I went to that website ... that is exactly what I am looking for!!

I'm guessing that I'll have to put it on a riser rail (clamped to my receiver's picatinny rail) to raise it above the line-of-view of the front sight, but that's a no-brainer.

Is there anybody "following" this thread who knows where I can find/buy the scope and rail in Alberta?
