I got offered a Sauer 404 classic as a trade for a face-to-face deal. Does anyone have real world experience with the Sauer 404 ? There are no threads about it on CGN.

Nice! Must be for a decent trade, these are 4K rifles, curious to know what you decide. I own a Sauer 101 and love it, Sauer make superb quality rifles. (Blaser owned) Amazing triggers, lightweight ergonomics, handle like a wand, undeniable accuracy. You can feel the difference in your hand. That said, I have not handled a 404. Classic has grade 2 wood. Decocking safety. They weigh slightly more than 101, just over 7lbs, only 3round mag..,but do offer interchangeable barrels which is awesome, can adjust trigger with fixed tool. I could see myself taking the plunge one day. Lemme know!
