I usually take a long hard look at anything made in China before purchase and if it's a scope made in China, I run the other way......always. There are a whole bunch of new "optics" companies springing up with a fancy English name, they're all Chinese crap. I'd stick to the known manufacturers like Bushnell,Redfield,Burris and even Tasco for an entry level scope. At least they've been around for a while and you'll probably have a warranty of some sort if the scope craps out. There's even a good chance you may not need warranty.
