Feedback on Winchester model 1400 auto

I have one here and I'm not really knowledgeable on them. When were they made - about 15-25 years ago? Decent shotguns? Reasonably popular? Value of an average condition one with two barrels?

I have an 11-87, and everyone (including me, even is familiar with them, but the 1400 is really a grey area to me.

7x61 that is an ok gun, does it have screw in chokes in the barrel? Like only uses 2 3/4 inch ammo, what are the 2 barrels? If its choked and minty it might be worth $400.00.FS

I bought my single barrel 1400 from Canadian tire for $225 about 10 years ago.

I used one a while back and it ended up eating itself. I remember shooting skeet and haveing flames shoot out the breach, impressive thing is it still cycled. I donno if it was the gun or if it was from the lack of cleaning from the owner but you can't judge them all by how one fell apart.

They do not have a good reputation for anything and a have a fairly low resale value. Sorry.
