Anyone has feeding problem with reloaded .454 casull ammo?
I have a Puma M92 .454 casull and it loads factory ammos without any problem, but it doesn't like my reloaded ammo for some reasons! Im using a 230gr .451 lead bullet with hornady brass.
Any help is appreciated.

You may be overcrimping. Common problem with revolver type calibers. You may want to invest in a Lee Carbide Factory Crimp die and I expect your problems will go away. Perfectly crimps and resizes loaded round back to factory spec. I have for all my revolver calibers.

The funny thing is that I have the same issue with my 45LC reloaded ammo. It gets stuck when its being feeded to the chamber, I can push it into the chamber with my finger and it smoothly goes in. Also it doesn't matter if I crimp or not. I have 2 rounds of 454 winchester factory ammo, I put it right next to my reloaded ammo and I can't see any difference! Same size!

Here is a picture of my 230gr, .451 lead bullet:

How about a pic of the factory round that works, beside a reload that doesn't?

My experience with the '92 winchester is that it likes ammo of the proper length, and bullets of a specific shape. It does NOT like steps at the shoulder. It does not have a cone feed. You've got to get a nice smooth start in the chamber. It likes round nose bullets, properly seated, with a nice smooth crimp, and of proper length. Do that, and it will feed smooth and never let you down.

The above bullet has no crimp groove, and thus, I assume, it will have a ridge when seated.

I got it to work. This gun likes flat nose bullets with crimp groove. Now I'm using 45LC, .452, 200gr lead bullet. I haven't tried to reload some 45LC's yet. I hope the 45LC works with the same lead bullet.

Easy to see why the factory round feeds nice isn't it?
Truncated cone design with no ridge at the case mouth.
My 44-40 is very bullet sensitive as well. It likes round nose bullets with a nice smooth transition to the case.
