Feeling overwhelmed picking an optic 😕

Most start with diamondback tac ffp 4-16 and upgrade after a half case of ammo (2500) usage.
Its the best value no matter what the haters say.
You can learn with this.

Next step is usually match pro ed or strike eagle.
Arken has good marketing.
Its all marketing brother. They are what you pay for. Most of the entry optics are from the same factory in china with different knobs and markings. Its all the same.

Save some money for ammo.......that and your barrel are more important.

Razor for the pros.

Subjective.

^ ^ I have a couple Argos 8-34x56 FFP in MOA, for my 22lr target shooting. One on my 457 VMTR and the other on a Savage B-22 FV. The CZ is slightly more accurate - at 3x the price - but the Savage still gets quite a bit under MOA at 50 and under 1.5 at 100. The CZ has a ca-5-oz Timney and the Sav I have polished and 'fixed' with a heat-softened T-spring to ca 15-oz.

I am having the same issue. So many choices of scopes. I do have some higher end scopes but I want to shoot
production class. Must stay under $1600 US. My Ruger precision rimfire is $629 US MSRP
Leaves $970 US MSRP for a scope
After trying SH4 and EP5. SH4J eye box seems better
At about $600 canadian tax in. The Arken SH4J Gen-2 6-24 VPR Mil is going to be hard to beat.
Mils with the okay VPR mil riticle
34mm tube
10 mils per rotation
zero stop
Large easy to read turrets

Venom $800 plus tax
Match Pro ED $1000 plus tax
