Hi all, little help if I can, confused and have been searching all over google.
I have a 1964 Hungarian Feg 12 gauge sxs, trying to identify the chokes on the barrels to no avail.
One barrel is marked 18.1 and the other one 17.7, can any one tell me what choke these are?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Randy

Are both barrels marked 18.5 as well? That should be the nominal diameter of 0.729". Your barrels are 0.4mm tighter and 0.8mm, or 0.016" and 0.032" constrictions, so Light Modified and Imp Modified. Give or take.

You need to know what your bore diameters are to know for sure. Or pattern it. But as a simple non accurate test, how far in will a dime go. If not far they are fairly tight which most of these European guns were back in the day.

Grouse man gave good advice. Euro guns almost always have bore diameter and choke diameter marked, in MM's so the rest is a simple calculation.
