Just me personally talking but I think for that price I'd pay a couple hundred more for a used browning

If it is in excellent shape, it's worth $500, but that is the maximum I would pay for FEG

Someone I know is offering a FEG Hi-power for $500, is it work it? It is in good condition. I believe it is the FEG P9M model. he said he bought it 20+ years ago.

Questar sold them for $300 a couple years ago....buy a Browning if he wants $500

Bought one well used for 350. But the barrel lug broke off the barrel after a hundred rounds or so. Not impressed but you get what you pay for.

I'm glad I bought those 2 spare parts kits from Questar then....lol
If it was run with a weak recoil spring for a while prior to you buying it, that can contribute to these kinds of failures. I use the 18.5lb springs in mine and change them at 7500 rounds.

Too much money for a low end pistol. Does use any BHP part though.

Used BHP's sometimes pop up for 150$ more than what that FEG will cost, I would just wait and keep an eye out
