FEG shotguns

I've owned one for the last 25 years or so. Solid SXS, very reliable. It's the "Continential" version that can be bought fairly cheap on the EE at times.

I have 3 of them. Well, 2 now as a fellow talked me into selling him one. They are good value for the money. They have dovetailed chopper lump barrels and double triggers and double locking underlugs. I have 3 different models and all have ejectors. I used one a bit this fall for duck hunting. It kicked the snot out of me and the trigger guard raised hell with my finger. It just has a hard buttplate on it so I'm sure a decent recoil pad and some foam on the trigger guard would bring it within shooting comfort for waterfowl. With lighter loads there's no problem. They come up for sale on the EE now and then. Usually they take awhile to sell as people pass them by. Which is okay if you are a buyer because you can get a fair quality SxS at a decent price.

The Monte Carlo model and the Victoria model I had , both have splinter forearms. The Victoria has a satin nickel finish.
The Continental I have has a beavertail forearm. I think it's the nicest looking of the 3. The one I have ( shown below) appears as though it was never fired. I bought it for $250.00 from a gunsmith I know. So as mentioned, you can find a pretty good gun for a low price.

I have the same one and I had it professionally shortened and keep it at the cottage for bear defence.
