I am gonig to look at a FEG pistol in 9mm. Did the google on it and kinda know what they are but has anyone here had any experience with them?

dad bought one this year, seems like a pretty solid little gun, finish is nice depending on the price i would say go for it, its kinda a browning high power with a S&W double action trigger from what ive been told. the grips are nothing like a BHP though allot thicker and wider.

FEG BHP "copy" are generally rough, but well built. 2-300$ is what they go for.

They can be pretty utilitarian, esp the DA trigger.

I had one, copy of the BHP, for many years. It was reliable and quite accurate. Not as nicely finished as a Belgian pistol but worth the money.

There are two types of FEGs labelled as HP clones and one has to be careful with the designation. One is a clone whilst the other uses a S&W type of disengagement. Generally they are good serviceable pistols in the $200 -$300 range. There are several excellent posts on the hipowertalk forum.

Thanks guys. I just looked at it and it is a hipower clone forgot to write the model number. Comes with 2 mags looks fairly clean> He wants $300 for it.

I have owned 3 but only have 2 now. FEG P9R, fairly robust pistols, mags are not easy to find but I think there is a norinco mag that should work. I paid $300 each for them
