Hello all,

Just wanted to share a quick story here. I'll keep it short. Recently I picked up a Browning BBR. It did not come with sling attachments. Missing the studs. Of course they are out of production. I happened to mention that here on the forum in a post, and another member (no name, don't wish to embarrass in case they are a private person) Had a few of these studs from other purchases I'm guessing. They were nice enough to offer to send me a set. Would not take any money for them, and paid for the shipping. He's a super class act. and just wanted to share with you all. I have had the privilege to be on the site now for many years. And only ever come across AAA plus people here. I'm often reminded how awesome it is to be Canadian, for the most part we are always willing to help our fellow countrymen and woman. With just about anything.

That's good luck OP. I've found items on here I would never find shopping around. Same goes with information. This site is a great resource and I like to think we help each other out.
It brings to mind a similar scenario I had while trying to find some screws for a rifle. The man came through in a pm and shipped them right out.
Through all the b.s. everyone lays down on these threads it's a good group.

I had a BBR 20 years ago that was also missing it's proprietary sling studs and they were hard enough to find back then.

Another CGNer just sent me a scope at no charge/no shipping for a friends daughter who is just starting out at 12 years of age with a fresh new PAL card... she was thrilled and amazed that someone who doesn't know her would be that kind... there are a lot of good folks here on CGN.
