I've shot an SVT, but never handled an SKS.
Can anyone who has experience with both tell me how the felt recoil and ability for follow-on shots compares between an SKS and an SVT?
Last fall's coolie-walking was all about short range volume of fire against relatively close (<100m) pop-up targets, and I'm trying to better prepare for this upcoming season.
I see reference to the "felt recoil" of the muzzle-braked SVT being almost the same as that of the SKS. Does that sound right?
And how is the relative "pointability?"
