These were used in carnivals etc, usually you tried to shoot out a red star. Does any one know what these are worth and if there is any demand?

Tommy gun looking things that loaded a tube of BBs through the butt stock?

Pretty sure there was a write up on them in one of the Air Gun Digest series of books.

Value? No idea. Demand? Probably. Likely fewer prospects in Canada, than Stateside.

Dam! Did I love that game! Was my fav at every carnival I went to. Was dam good at it too. Literally got told..."this is your last one...now F@#K off!" By the the carnie working the game at the Calgary Stampede one year after I releived him of his 3rd Giant stuffie for the kids....back to back:)

I saw one listed about 10 years ago, I think the asking price was around $600-$700 at the time. I used to love that game, came very close to winning just ONCE...the a-hole running the game practically used a magnifying glass to show me the red paper fiber still left. lol

Ha! Ha! Ha! Me too!

I didn't think that it was possible to shoot such tight groups with a machine gun, but I did it.

I had literally spent over an hour playing it (unsuccessfully) at the PNE one year, when this guy walks up and cleans it on his first try.

He just fired a single burst, while running the BB's in a circle around the target, and eclipsed the red star.

Then he took his prize and walked off.

I tried copying him for about another hour and finally gave up in disgust.

No matter what method I used, there was always a tiny speck of red left.

Shorts bursts, long bursts, circular patterns, it didn't matter. Nothing worked.

In any case, I'd love to have an indoor range at home with one of those.

The ones I recall, always had a sign up, that said "Cutouts do not Count!", or some such, which was to say, that a full auto burst, that cut a line AROUND the star, got you no prize!

I can see that, too, as cutting the target fee of the clips that held it up, could otherwise be seen as a "Win!"

Not saying the fix was not in, just that the fix was plainly stated, at least in the places I saw those!
