Just picked up my first rifle mounted light. Looked at quite a few options but didnt want to spend a riduculous amount of money, nor did I want to just slap a $20 light and scope ring on either. I was doing some work on a customers tow truck and just happen to see a card on his dash for "Fenix Ultimate Flashlights" turns out hes the local rep. He had his whole rep kit with him, with pretty much every light they carry and he made me up a little rifle package.

Package consists of:

- Fenix TK15
- Fenix AR102 Remote Pressure Switch
- Fenix ALG-01 Flashlight Picatinny Mount

The light itself has some nice features

- Max 400 Lumens with a output throw of 252m
- 4 brightness settings *low(6 lumens) *mid(55 lumens) * high(165 lumens) *turbo(400 lumens)
- Stobe feature that changes pulse length and pattern every few seconds
- Tail switch with a momentary function(nice if your using it as a general use flashlight)
- Runs off 2 CR123 or 18650 rechargable
- Striker bezel (glass breaking or what have you)

The whole package retails at a pretty decent price of $125 taxes included. I got mine for $100, little deal for working on his truck. Overal a really nice piece for the money and its found a nice new home.

I have the same setup without the pressure swith, I love it..

The mount really was a nice surprise, cheap but very well made. T

yeah that was just a quick "im excited lets see how it looks" mount up, havent decided on final location as of yet or where to lay the pressure pad but thank you for your input. cheers.

I think the way a lot of those pressure switches are mounted is in a "false side" of a forward grip. Squeeze it for on/off function. I am sure you can find a nice place to tuck it nicely out of the way but easy to hit.

Also I keep the tactical screw on ring on the flashlight butted up to the back of the mount. This way if the mount ever loosens the light will not fall out only wiggle around.

hey good stuff coming out of this thread so far, thats a great idea, thanks. I had taken it off so that I could slide the light out of the mount without having to remove the mount from the rifle but I think Ill throw it back on.

Hard to beat Fenix's lumens per dollar. Interesting to see how durable the cap & tape switch will be over time with repeated use.

Nice, I've been meaning to pick up one of these, I just wish the cable for the tape switch wasn't so long, or coiled... I like the look of the Surefire tape switches cuz their cables are shorter, can seems like they can be neatly tucked away

The tailcap clicky is responsible for on/off/momentary on only. The dimmer switch is only for utilizing the dimmer/strobe functions. The unit "remembers" your last setting and will always go back to that when you turn it off and on.
