Few groups .308 10FP 24" - Silverdale March 1st

The groups look promising. Shoot some groups at 200, 300, and 400 yards/metres and see if the rifle holds true.

I should be back to the range in April :(, but hopefully by then I'll get all my reloading equipment and will be able to crank-out some neat loads to test

ps. will need help on reloading later :D

Budget rifles

Nice groups for factory ammo and I know how hard it can be to shoot in the cold at silverdales. I'm a member there as well and the bench's are not the best. Some will lead you to believe that you need some high dollar wonder rig to shoot good groups. Not the case. Ruthless if you are going to start to reload for your self, get you hands on some good reloading manuals and read them cover to cover. Nosler, Lyman are two of the better ones. This is a 5 shot target I shot at silverdales with a Tika 3 B&L 36 power scope Tika rings

Hope to see ya at the club one day:sniper:

ZZ that's some nice shooting

I think I can benefit from bedding, but I got a chepo stock, need to get B&C that I like :D b-day is still few months away :runaway: (hope gf is reading this :D)

Lionhill & Ruthless first they are 1 inch box and the F210m is for the primers that were used in the loads. Federal 210 match. The group was shot at the hundred yard bench. The targets are standard bench rest that i got off the net. And the gun is stock out of the box. Not sure but thought all savage rifles where pillar beded? friend has 10fp and it shoots real good. This target was shot on the same day but over my chronograph

I think Mc and HS stock and possibly Choate stocks are pillar bedded, my chepo one I doubt

you said is an other post you wanted a bore guide Le Baron in Mississauga has them in stock and it was the universal model so it will fit more than one bolt gun

Ruthless: all the current savage rifles are pillar beded from factory.

ZIGZAG: what model is your T3? did you use the supplied rings? or after

Canadagunner. The Tika 3 is the SS heavy Varmint model and the rings are the OPTILOCK,same as the Sako rings and bases... No rings were supplied with gun
