Before Israel was producing its own pistols (before IMI), it contracted with Tanfoglio, manufacturers of high-quality CZ clones. Manufacturer was Fratelli Tanfoglio S.N.C. of Gardone Val Trompa, Italy. It lacks an Italian date code, but its number indicated a 1991 production date from similarly numbered coded pistols we've had over the years. Importer and exclusive distributor was a now defunct Israeli firm, Weapons House Ltd.,
