Fg42 ?

The last REAL FG-42 recently sold for $149,500
Johnson M1944 LMG $74,750
Borchart patent M1893 semi-auto pistol with shoulder stock $63,250
M1918 Pedersen device $63,250 (with 6 boxes of ammunition
Johnson M1941 LMG $57,500
Maremont M60 (new in box) $45,995
Colt M16A2 (new in box) $20,995

$9000 for the BD42 is more than I thought it would be. Was sure it would be more than the 7.92X33s, but not triple. Would it sell at $5000? $6500?

That was my tap out range.. Anything past that I couldn't even consider due to my current employment and other reasons. That and I just wouldn't pay it, too much for too little.

Got an answer from Johnone (always a great guy on the communication I might add)

Good morning;
Due to the unrealistic pricing we have decidied not import them....
They would sell for around $9,000.
Best Regards and thank you for your interest
John

:(

$9000 CDN = 5800 EURO

Just shows how weak our dollar and the US dollar are compared to the Euro, with reduced buying power.

Then dont buy one...

A TNW mg34 is 4K, a Bd38 is 3K, each has its price. The BD42 is a rare piece, even as a repro. Im not saying 10K isnt alot of money, Im just saying I want one....

I'm usually the last guy to ##### about pricing. The names Valmet, TNW, SSD, Steyr, etc. can all be found in my gun room but 10K is just over the top IMHO. Right up there with 20K for an HK G36S - stupid.

This coming from someone who thought 4K was totally reasonable for an M78 ;)
