Fiber-optic bead sights

Lots of give and take but standing beside you can watch their eyes hand pressure trigger finger barrel bobble bead checks and so on. More damage is done IMO telling beginners exactly where a shot was, as not all missed shots are bad shots.

Not disagreeing with you at all. Just remember they all liked to stand behind . Maybe to hollar in your ear BEHIND :(
Cheers

Not sure any of you guys answered my question at all. Just a bunch of trap talk.
I HUNT!
Lets try again..
Any actual firsthand help would be awesome

Actually, some posters have asked what you want to shoot because their answers would depend on that and others have made statements that it depends on what you are shooting. Some have assumed that you target shoot while others have assumed that you hunt but this is the first that you've stated that you hunt!
Lets try again!

We need to know what and how you hunt with a shotgun, that will help to determine if a f/o sight is suited for your purpose. As I said already, I personally like them a lot.

I am partial to a small brass or white bead. I don't use them when shooting clays or wingshooting, but they look good on the gun. The exception to this would be using the bead to aim when turkey hunting. (Drawing on my considerable turkey hunting experience consisting of one shot ;) )

There are more then enough answers in this thread to provide you with the advice and knowledge that you requested. More than the info you provided in your initial post that would have been beneficial with regards to recommendations. If you chose not to take any of the advice, then I suggest you buy the sight as it would appear as though you have already made the decision to do so

At least it was a good shot!!

I have a couple of ones in stock with magnets that stick on a rib, come with different color inserts, may be what you are looking at

Just goes to show you "No good deed Goes Unpunished."
Guess he'll scoff at the idea of putting a scope on his hunting gun then eh?

It appears that the OP had his mind made up when he posted this, and was simply looking for people to reassure him that he was making the right choice.

Agreed. And to be clear, I don’t think that there is anything wrong with that. If the OP thinks he’ll benefit from a FO sight, then so be it. I personally dont think that would be the case if he uses his shotgun for wingshooting. I think it will have the opposite effect. But it may be of help if the shotgun in question is a turkey gun or a slug gun.

Maybe, maybe not. But I would certainly hope that no one would think a scope would be helpful to shoot on the fly. Of course, turkey guns and sluggers are a different story altogether

Guys im looking for any firsthand experience with fiber-optic sights on a 12ga.
I want to replace the bead on my bps because i cant see it anymore after camo dip and cerakote.
As of right now i have a green hiviz bead sight in my cart with bullseye.
So far that seem to be the best ive found.

I know of a gentleman at my trap range who uses high viz paint on his front bead and it seems to work fantastic for him. It may save some $$ and definitely doesn't look like a redneck mod if done correctly.
